Our Projects

BIPOC GOT TALENT

The Talent show is an opportunity to empower BIPOC children and youths by helping them to identify their talents and giftings at an early age and to build their confidence in contributing to the development and growth of the community.

The next event is scheduled for September 14, 2024.

The activities will include music, choreography, poetry, digital storytelling (The Immigration Journey), visual art, and a cooking segment tagged ‘My Mother’s Kitchen’.

SINGLE PARENT RELIEF

This is to provide a culturally sensitive environment for respite and recovery for single-parent families facing financial challenges and mental health complexities. We organize workshops, conferences, and retreats to bring single parents together by sharing their challenges and supporting one another through the process.

THE HOME WE BUILT

The Home We Built’ is a Support System which is a source of encouragement and comfort to families in the community. Individuals send in their concerns and questions and our panelists professionally handle them accordingly.

THE IMMIGRATION JOURNEY

This project provides an inclusive, vicarious learning and empathetic portrayal of the immigration journey to Canada through a multimedia platform. This is an ongoing exploration to collect people’s stories. We plan to document the sharing of personal true-life stories, cultural diversities, experiences, challenges and perspectives of immigrants in a movie.
